A Sailor's Life For Me

I feel like I wear this dress way to much, but what can I say? I'm in love. I love a classic sailor stripe stripe (as demonstrated in plenty of posts before this),  and the classic colors make it so versatile. It is a bit short, but at my height I should be used to that by now.

For all you shorties out there: at least you can hem things..
Dress: Forever21, Jacket: Old Navy, Belt: Abercrombie, Shoes: Dolce Vita

Scarf: Gift from my friend's trip to Germany
The weather had taken its toll on my hair by this point, but it had remained fairly straight throughout the day. It has been my last day heat styling my hair until prom! (Which is May 26th for those who are curious).
I love the combo of a red lip and straight hair for some reason. It makes me feel... powerful maybe?

Spring Medley

It was a sunny, yet slightly chilly day today here in Chicago. But then again I should be used to this crazy weather by now right?

Watch: Target. Bracelet: Forever21, Sunglasses: Walgreen's

This is my favorite coat in the entire world and I'm sure you've seen it on here a few times.
Coat: Thrifted, Belt: Abercrombie and Fitch, Broach: given by a friend, Boots: Forever21, Jeans: Old Navy
I also wanted to look semi "normal" today because we weren't changing clothes for soccer today. We had a team bonding karaoke day which was a blast. I have to say, if fashion doesn't work out, I would totally become a rapper.

Sorry I've been a little slow to post recently but I've been keeping super busy. Also! We have French exchange students at our school. Amy has one so she hasn't been around to take pictures. And I've had to make the switch back to my own camera. Yes, that is the sound of me crying a little bit.

Shirt: Forever21, Skirt: Target
I guess you can say that the exchange students have had a little bit of an effect on our wardrobes. At least 3 of my friends were wearing stripes today.

Watch: Target, Bracelet: Forever21, Bow pin: from my mom

Shoes: Dolce Vita

Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired

Jacket: Can't remember!, Shirt: Thrifted, Watch: Target, Necklace: Forever21

Jeans: City Streets, Shoes: Shoe Carnival
This was the outfit I was talking about from when I was sick and I had to post a Filler. I was going to re-shoot it, but I'm too lazy.. You can clearly see how miserable I am, but persevering for fashion right?? Anyways, hope you all are having a lovely day!

All of My Change I Spent On You

Today was a rather uneventful day, other than the fact that I realized exactly how far behind I am in AP Art Studio. My outfit to day was a healthy mix of librarian and biker (and isn't that always the best mix?).
Jeans: Old Navy. Shirt: Thrifted

Shoes: Loft
So sad that I had to return the beautiful camera that was borrowed to me, and now I'm back to the good old Nikon point-and-shoot.

Hey guys! I was really looking forward to showing you my outfit today but I was feeling absolutely terrible! I went home sick and changed into sweats. So. I'll just have to put it on again another time.

Anyways, here are some pictures of another school outfit I took last week.

All Thrifted except jewelry and shoes which are Forever21

Last night I went to my friends' birthday party where we ate rainbow cake and danced in the corner. It was a blast and I really missed my friends! I feel like everything has gotten so crazy lately I never have time to see anyone.

With my gorgeous friend Natalie, who needs a blog ASAP.

Dress: Forever21

My New Uniform

I've been noticing recently that while most peoples' comfort uniform is something like, say, jeans and a t-shirt, mine has become a midi skirt and a long sleeve shirt. For me, this outfit is simple and easy, and way more comfortable than jeans any day.

Leather Jacket: I forget the name..., Purse: X-Generation, Skirt: Thrifted, Henley: Thrifted
This "skirt" was actually a 70's dress before, but I felt like I had to cut it in half because it was too much pattern, even for me. So now instead of one dress, I have a new skirt and a new crop top. Score!

With Gucci!
My mom yells at me for how much I go thrift shopping. I have so much from there.
Sunglasses: Walgreens

Head Filled With Elsewhere

It was a bit windy and gloomy today, and I think my outfit reflected that. I kept my colors warm, but don't worry I'm not falling back into Winter habits! I think the gold added just the right pop to add just a little bit of brightness.
Head band: Top Shop, Shirt: Thrifted, Sweater: Forever21

Shoes: Make Me Chic

I look so young in this picture..

Happy Easter

Dress: H&M
If you look at my legs you can see all my bruises from soccer. I'm sure my neighbors were extremely confused.
